To explore the České Budějovice Town Hall
Visit us in the historic town hall building, where history and traditional town administration are combined. You will learn interesting information about the history of the town hall, feel the atmosphere of the ceremonial hall, admire the original sculptures of virtues by Josef Dietrich, meet the bees on the roof of the town hall and have a unique view of Přemysl Otakar II Square. You will not miss the spectacle of the council chamber or a walk through the labyrinth of office spaces up to the 35 m high tower with a view of the wide surroundings.
The Tourist Information Centre České Budějovice provides a guided tour of the historic town hall, which takes about 50 minutes. The tour includes: the town hall courtyard, the ceremonial hall, the council meeting room, the roof of the town hall, the town hall observation tower.
Regular tours of the town hall
Regular tours of the town in Czech language only take place in summer season (June-September) on Mondays, Wednesdays and in winter season (Advent). In the off-season, at other times or in other languages, tours are by appointment only.

To arrange an appointment, the following information must be negotiated in advance:

Tour start time (according to TIC opening hours, no later than 3pm)
Tour language (Czech/English)
Number of people (per group is minimum 5 and maximum 30 people)

The meeting place is the town hall courtyard. Payment for the tour is made at the Tourist Information Center with Czech money or card.
