Horse-Drawn Railroad Museum

In spite of some structural modifications, guard house no. 1 in České Budějovice is the only authentic structure in the city with a direct connection to the horse-drawn railroad. The build was constructed exclusively for the railroad company’s needs. Originally, it was used to house railroad guards. At present, it contains an exhibition describing not only the history and present of these guard houses, but the hard life of railroad guards as well.
