Žlutá ponorka - Poetic Cocktail Bar

After 16 years in a cellar in Chelčický Street, the Yellow Submarine has moved to the centre of České Budějovice, to a historic house at 66 Česká Street - a national cultural monument associated with the salt trade and the horse-drawn railway on the České Budějovice-Linec route.

The Poetic Cocktail Bar offers 140 seats, a 13-foot wooden bar with a light installation and two poetic lounges with books, quotes and a piano. The renovation was overseen by preservationists and preserved the unique atmosphere of the space.

Owner Mirek Řehoř and head bartender Milan Mriglod have put together a cocktail menu that combines their own signature drinks with tried-and-true classics and emphasizes rums, gins and a diverse selection of champagne.

The kitchen is led by Adam Hoďánek with international experience, and guests can choose from original dishes inspired by Scandinavian, Asian and Indian cuisine.
